Let’s Give It Up For Gabriella! πŸ‘

The girl’s got goals! We’re talking about Gabriella Simmons, Team Lead here at Northwestern Marketing Concepts and resident baker! Just a few months into her employment with our Boise-based firm, Gabby has her eyes sent on management and our eyes are on her, cheering on her victories one blog at a time!

Born and raised in Stanwood Washington, Gabby moved to Boise in 2014 to pursue job opportunities in a larger city.Β Indeed.com matched her resume with Northwestern Marketing Concepts open Account Representative position, and when asked why she decided to join the team, Gabby said β€œ I like working with technology and it’s a place that will help me transition into a management position. The opportunity was huge, especially receiving full training, so I had to take advantage.”

After going on a business trip to Bozeman, Montana, and seeing firsthand the travel and networking potential, Gabby realized that the only thing that separated her from her goals was time and her work ethic. Upon her return to headquarters, Gabby worked tirelessly to master her sales and customer acquisition job responsibilities, quickly receiving her promotion 2.5 weeks later to a Team Lead role.Β

Gabby’s vision is to help Northwestern Marketing Concepts and it’s client expand to the city of Las Vegas, where she and her family have always dreamt of living. She foresees herself overseeing an additional office location for our client, managing new campaigns and pilots aimed at improving over market growth and expansion.Β  Some of Gabby’s short-term goals include either renovating her current house or moving closer to the center of Boise to put her son in the best possible situation education-wise.Β

When asked about an inspiring business mogul she would like to sit down and have coffee with, Gabby said Bill Gates was a clear choice. She admires how, in spite of his great business success, he has maintained a humble demeanor. She, like all of us, wants to know how he manages it all with grace.

Not many people know this, but Gabby loves to bake. She actually attended culinary school for a semester (with aspirations to return) and had a great time learning all she did. She says her niche is in cookies or cakes and for fun, she learned how to make Baked Alaska (which she says isn’t as difficult to make as it may look).

With a personality that radiates onto every person she comes into contact to and the motivation of providing her son with the best life possible, we have no doubt that Gabby will find great success here in our Management Training Program. After all, when you realize that life is just like baking a cake, everything is just about following instructions and balancing your ingredients!
